the wooden grinder works for a while, but after much use the nails start to pull out of the base (bummer). Sweet leaf has another version it is all metal with a rubber gasket to assure ease in the grinding movement. I have been using my metal grinder for over 1 year now and it is like brand new, I went through 2 wooden ones a year since my 1998 trip to Amsterdam.

Its a must have handy tool. In Amsterdam all coffee shops have grinders. Its makes the weed much better distributed in a joint. I am sure that all connesiours know the difference
